Acting as the administrative and executive body of the association as well as the legal representative of TOC.
Establishing collaboration between the bodies of the association.
Ensuring that accounting books and records are maintained according to the principles stipulated by laws. Submitting the following year's budget for the approval of the General Assembly, prepared with consultation from the Council, as well as the balance sheet and profit and loss account statements that are prepared at the end of each activity period.
Determining, with the chairs associated with the sports federations, the delegations of sports branches that are deemed appropriate for participation in the Olympics and other events as discussed and determined by the Council.
Selecting participants for the Olympics and other similar events, and obtaining the Council's approval in this regard.
Approving or declining, within 30 days, the Registration Committee's resolutions with regards to TOC membership applications.
Making decisions according to reports from the registration and disciplinary committees about the members who will be discharged from TOC as per the Association Law and provisions of the bylaws.
Summoning the alternate member with the highest number of votes when a new seat opens up in the Executive Board.
Calling an ordinary meeting, and if necessary, an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly according to the principles stipulated by the relevant articles of the bylaws.
Ensuring the release of all types of publications related to sports, Olympics and similar sports events.
Submitting any amendment proposals for the approval of the General Assembly as required by the bylaws, following consultation with the Council and having offered reasons for the amendments.
Selecting, upon request, representatives to join the appropriate institutions, and when necessary, establishing sub-committees and endowing them with authorization and financial means.
Adopting the General Assembly's resolutions and carrying out other tasks assigned by the General Assembly.
President: In charge of the management and oversight of all the association's activities. Chairs the Executive Board and Council meetings. Is authorized to sign all types of documents on behalf of the association.
Secretary General: Is in charge of the management and oversight of all the activities of the association, alongside the Chairman. Is authorized to sign all types of documents on behalf of the association.
The First Deputy Chairman represents the Chairman in his or her absence, and the Second Deputy Chairman represents the Chairman in the absence of the First Deputy Chairman.
Assistant Secretary Generals: Assist the Secretary General in his or her duties and fulfill any other duties assigned to them by the Executive Board.
Treasurer: Is responsible for collecting revenues for the Association, as well as for properly drawing up the necessary documents and keeping books in accordance with regulations.
Other Members: From the members of the Executive Board, one person is assigned to marketing duties; one to liaison duties with the members of TOC; one to legal matters; one to new projects; and one to handle the protocols, invitations and organization of the meetings.
Transactions that are related to financial responsibilities within the association take effect with the signature of the Chairman, and when the Chairman is not available, with the co-signatures of one of the authorized Deputy Chairmen and the Secretary General or the Treasurer. In any other case TOC shall not be held responsible. Only receipts with the signature of either the Chairman, the Secretary General or the Treasurer shall be accepted.
