Türkiye Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi’nin, spor yapma imkanından yoksun çocuklar için 1996 yılından bu yana
Türkiye’nin çeşitli il ve ilçelerinde yürüttüğü Ücretsiz Spor Okulları projesinde bir dönem daha geride
kaldı. Valilikler, spor il müdürlükleri ve milli eğitim il müdürlükleri tarafından desteklenen projede son
olarak İstanbul, Kocaeli ve Van’da yaşları 7-15 arasında değişen çocuklara spor eğitimi verildi.
Yet another year passes by with the Turkish Olympic Committee’s (TOC) ‘Free Sports Schools Project
(FSS)’, oriented towards children without any means to pursue sports and having been implemented in
various provinces and districts of Turkey since 1996. Sports education has been provided for children aged
seven to fifteen in İstanbul, Kocaeli and Van within the scope of the Project supported by the provincial
Governorships and Directorates of the ministries of National Education and Youth & Sports.
