EOC Olağanüstü Genel
Kurulu’nda, 2019 yılındaki 2.
Avrupa Oyunları’nın Hollanda’da
düzenlenmesi kararlaştırıldı.
2015 yılı EOC Genel Kurulu için de
Çek Cumhuriyeti’nin Prag kenti
belirlendi. Genel Kurul sonrası
bütün delegeler Gloria Sports
Arena’yı gezdiler.
Belek’te alınan kararlardan bir
süre sonra, Bakü’de düzenlenen

OC general Assembly ratified
the Netherlands Olympic Com-
mittee’s proposal for hosting
the second European Games in
2019. It was also decided that the
EOC General Assembly meeting
shall take place in Prague, Czech
Republic.

European Games in Baku, it was
announced that Netherlands
pulled out of hosting 2

Euro-
pean Games in 2019 because
there is
“ insufficient support for
funding the event”
. The Neth-
erlands Olympic Committee
(NOC*NSF) criticised national
and local authorities for refusing
to fund the event. Calling the
development
“disappointing”
, the
European Olympic Committee
(EOC) President Hickey, said:
“I
have no doubt that we will be
able to present a strong host for
the 2019 European Games. We
are confident these inaugural
European Games in Baku will be
the ideal showcase for this new
event and its long-term sporting,
social and economic benefits.”

çıkacağından eminim. Avrupa’nın
ilk kıta oyunlarını devam ettirmek
için çalışacağız”
