MOK’un 2006 yılında başla-
yan ‘Spor Kültürü ve Olimpik
Eğitim Projesi’nde, 2015 yılı ba-
şında bir milyon öğrenci hede-
fine ulaşılmış olup, yeni bir mil-
yon öğrenci hedefiyle sunum-
lar Türkiye’nin dört bir yanın-
da devam ediyor. Çocuklarımızın
ve gençlerimizin bedensel, duy-
gusal, zihinsel ve sosyal yönden
sağlıklı gelişmelerine spor ara-
cılığıyla katkıda bulunmak ve
onları kötü alışkanlıklardan uzak
tutmak amacıyla hazırlanan
eğitim projesine son dönem-
de çevre bilinci, dengeli bes-
lenme ve Fair Play konula-
rı da eklendi. Genç nesillerin
spor kültürünü erken yaş-
ta özümsemesine yönelik
sürdürülen proje kapsa-
mında, 17 Şubat 2006 ta-
rihinden bu yana gerçek-
leştirilen sunumlarla ül-
kenin birçok ilini dolaştık.
2007 yılında Gökçe Karataş Vakfı
tarafından ‘Yılın Eğitimde Hizmet’
ödülüne layık görülen TMOK Spor
Kültürü ve Olimpik Eğitim Projesi,
Uluslararası Olimpiyat Komitesi
(IOC) tarafından da spor kültürü
ve Olimpik eğitim alanında dün-
ya-
nın en iyi 17 projesi
arasına da-
hil edildi

nitiated in 2006, TOC’s ‘Sports
Culture and Olympic Education
Project’ attained its target of
reaching to a million students
in early 2015. The presentations
will resume with the fresh tar-
get of another new million stu-
dents all across the coun-
try. Lately, subjects
like ‘environmental awareness’,
‘balanced nutrition’ and ‘Fair Play’
were incorporated into the edu-
cational Project aiming to con-
tribute through sports to the
healthy development of our chil-
dren physically, emotionally,
mentally and socially and keep-
ing them away from bad habits.
Within the scope of the Project,
oriented towards the assimila-
tion of sports culture by young
generations at an early age,
we travelled many cities of
the country with presentations
held since 17 February 2006.
The Project, deemed wor-
thy of Gökçe Karataş
Foundation’s ‘Educational
Services Award of the Year’
in 2007, has also been in-
cluded among the best
17 projects in the world
on sports culture and
Olympic education by the
Olympic World
