In his speech to the students of
Kağıthane Atatürk Secondary
School who had achieved their
new sport equipment, Taha Akgül
said: “
My country took pride in my
Olympic gold medal and I know
that there are many kids here
who will do the same. I thank P&G
Turkey, TOC and the Ministry of
National Education for supporting
children to do sports. I also grew
up at these desks and became an
Olympic champion. Your support
will ensure tomorrows champions
emerging from these classrooms.

Mücahit Akgün: “We’ll raise
champions like Taha Akgül”
In his speech, Ministry of National
Education Student Affairs and
Social Events Department
Head Mücahit Akgün said “
Our
students are so lucky for having
an example like Taha Akgül
before them. We’re ready
and determined to provide
sunuyorum. Ben de bu sıralardan
yetiştim ve Olimpiyat şampiyonu
oldum. İnanıyorum ki, bu gibi
desteklerle yarının şampiyonları
da bu sıralardan çıkacak.

Mücahit Akgün: “Taha Akgül

Öğrencilerimiz,
önlerinde Taha Akgül gibi örnek bir
sporcu bulunmasından dolayı çok
şanslı. Ülkemize spor alanında
gurur yaşatmak isteyen, sporla
ilgilenen her çocuğumuza gerekli
imkânları sağlamaya, yeni Taha
Akgül’ler yetiştirmeye hazırız
” dedi.
Taygun Günay: “Bu alandaki
imkânları artırmaya çalışıyoruz”

are conducting the “

1 Support” campaign to support
sports in Turkey. We attach great
importance to this campaign, not
only from the extent and range
of support, but also from the
viewpoint of raising awareness.
We try to call children’s attention
to the importance of exercising
sports and increase the
opportunities in this field with
the help of TOC and Ministry of
National Education.

Neşe Gündoğan: “We’re happy
to enable hundreds of children
to do sports”
In her speech the TOC Secretary
General Neşe Gündoğan stated
“
We’re so glad to have enabled
hundreds of children to do sports
through our ongoing cooperation
with P&G since 2012 to support
sports and Olympic spirit in Turkey.
TOC will continue to strive for the
development of sport in Turkey.

açısından değil, farkındalığın
artırılması açısından da çok
önemsiyoruz. Bu kampanya ile
çocukların spor yapmalarının ne
kadar önemli olduğuna dikkat
çekmeye çalışıyor ve TMOK ve
MEB’in de desteği ile bu alandaki
imkanları artırmaya çalışıyoruz.

(TMOK) Genel Sekreteri Neşe
Gündoğan da yaptığı açıklamada,

Türkiye’de sporun ve Olimpiyat
ruhunun desteklenmesi için
2012 yılında iş birliğine imza
attığımız P&G Türkiye ile şimdiye
kadar yüzlerce çocuğun spor
yapmasına destek olduğumuz
için mutluluk duyuyoruz. TMOK,
ülkemizde sporun gelişmesi için
gösterdiği çabayı bundan sonra da
sürdürecek
” dedi.
